Trade Alert: What history and some feet-to-fire say about AMD and the markets now

Last Tuesday, I wrote: “Feet-to-fire (F2F) guess for the markets for the next 1-2 months: Markets go up another 3% from here, fall 5-7% in a mini-crash, then trade sideways into year-end. I wouldn’t try to profit with that feet-to-fire market

Highflying stocks: Nemesis for the hubristic coming sooner rather than later

I have a few thoughts about the markets and hubris and trying to keep perspective about the next 10,000 days of our lives, as we head into the weekend. I see multiple stocks up 20-30% every day these days, even giant multi-billion companies like SPLK and other

Gerald Celente joins Cody to talk Blockchain Democracy, Gold, Cryptos, and The Next Crash

With the stock markets at or near all-time highs (along with complacency) I’ve been spending quite a bit of time lately (maybe more than usual!) trying to figure out what, if anything, might cause the Bubble-Blowing Bull Market to top and/or the economy to tank. In

Headline thunderstorms brewing, Markets chilling, Amaris playing Lava game and more

I was driving to a haircut this afternoon and over town I could see rolling flashes of lightning. On the radio was all the commentary about our President’s personal attorney pleading guilty and implicating the President while the President’s former campaign chairman being found guilty on bank and

Sometimes I can’t hardly believe how poetic the buys and sells of being contrarian can be. We bought Nvidia back two years ago when most Wall Street analysts hated the stock. For the last two years, I’ve repeatedly explained how Nvidia has been uniquely positioned to benefit from

Stock markets tried hard to rally this morning at the open. They’ve been fading a bit lower back to flat now a half hour into the trading day. Meanwhile, bitcoin dropped below $6000 over night, now down 70% from its highs just eight months ago when I published my

Turkey, Argentina: Be cool, calm and contrarian, but not greedy

I will hit all all the questions at the bottom of this email (teaser, see?) and any other questions you might have in this week’s Live Q&A Chat, tomorrow morning at 9am ET. There was a slow fade lower in the stock markets today. Meanwhile, the latest

Trade Alert: Two trades to avoid whistling past Turkey’s collapse

Is nobody here worried about Turkey currency crisis and the potential fallout/ramifications thereof? Stocks got hit on Friday but bounced back this morning before flattening again here now as I write this around 10am MT in Ruidoso NM. Most of the headlines, punditry and commentary around this shockingly quick
