Do you have a smartphone? Do your kids…

Do you have a smartphone?  Do your kids?   Do you use it to get information?  Do you use apps?  Do you have a tablet?  Do you use it?  Do you still use your laptop in the same way you used to before you had a smartphone and a tablet with apps?   Do you still look at webpages the same way with the same frequency as you used to?  Do you think that if you better figure out what industries and what companies will benefit from these still subtle, but increasingly impactful consumer behavioral changes?

It’s an app world these days and it’s getting to be more of an app world every day.  Eventually we will hit a tipping point in the app revolution that will drive us into an app stock bubble as the app world develops into a full-fledged revolution of marketplace creative destruction.

I’m sitting here buying and selling stocks, many of which are part of my App Revolution turning into an App Bubble thesis, writing about what app stocks I’m buying and selling, and every paper and every website I visit is all about apps too.   The US Today had no less than four articles in its business section that were all about apps.  My email inbox contains twelve research reports from Wall Street brokerage analysts and eight of them address apps, the app market, tablets, smartphones or some variation of my App Revolution therein.

Apps are here to stay.  Riverbed, Google and Apple are three of my purest plays on the App Revolution that’s increasingly obvious to the rest of the world.  These companies that are driving the App Revolution are creating that marketplace destruction that other technological revolutions have…is there any industry or company in the world that hasn’t been completely revolutionized with the personal computer technology?  The Internet is also continuing to destroy old world business models like books and newspapers…

Apps/tablets/smartphones accelerate all of the Internet’s wondrous revolutions by making them mobile, easier to access and more functional. I’ve built several apps in recent months, the most successful of which is the iPad/iPhone app called the App Revolution App, which features videos and content from yours truly all about apps and sells and then displays my investment books.   In a couple months, we’ll also introduce a new app for my TradingWithCody.com site…it’s remarkable how many subscribers are requesting such an app already.   As a matter of fact, we just completely revamped TradingWithCody.com to prepare the site and the content on the site for our upcoming TradingWithCody app, that will be free for all our subscribers.   I’d invite you to take a look at the new revamped TradingWithCody.com and let me know what you think.

In the meantime, I’ll ask it again:   Do you have a smartphone?  Do your kids?   Do you use it to get information?  Do you use apps?  Do you have a tablet?  Do you use it?  Do you still use your laptop in the same way you used to before you had a smartphone and a tablet with apps?   Do you still look at webpages the same way with the same frequency as you used to?  Do you think that if you better figure out what industries and what companies will benefit from these still subtle, but increasingly impactful consumer behavioral changes?

Back in a bit after the close.
