Lobo the stock picking cattle dog gets a tooth pulled

The day slipped away from me after I snuck away for a few minutes to take Lobo, the stockpicking cattle dog, (not joking, there are websites dedicated to Lobo’s stock picking ideas, see here for example) to my local vet, who also happens to be my father.

As for the markets, it was a slippery day and we ended near the lows, but that’s not to say that it was an ugly day, which a 2% down day can be, after all.  It wasn’t U-G-L-Y you ain’t got no alibi, ugly, but it was just a slippery slide lower all day.  That, along with the rest of the recent trading patterns and my fundamental analysis plus some pyschology of the current state of the mass of traders, would lead me to think we’ve probably got a little bit more softness and/or even some steadiness in the very near-term before we get what I would expect is another 5-10% rally to the upside from there.  I’m looking to do a little bit more trading in the next few days and will let you guys know when I pull the trigger on a new name or two, likely tomorrow.

At any rate, tomorrow I’ll finally be back in the writing/trading routine and you guys should have both more trading ideas and more articles from me.

Here’s some footage of Lobo picking stocks on Fox Business a couple years ago.  His picks are legendary for a reason!
